I've posted some tips on this page and those it links to with the goal of enhancing your workflow and simplifying your navigation on this SharePoint site. The discussions that follow use a similar site (Digidesign Training & Education Program) for illustration purposes.
Basic Navigation
The Home page of this site contains links to all of the important areas that you might want to visit. If you can't find your way to a page or library that you want to view, return to the Home page by clicking on the Home tab in the upper left corner of any page or by clicking on the site name (e.g., Digidesign Training & Education Program) above the tab:
If you have navigated to a subsite (such as the VENUE Book site in the example below), you can get back to the main site by clicking on its name in the Breadcrumb list at the top of the page:
From the Home page, you can find links to other areas in the Quick Launch bar on the left side of the page and in the Internal Links list on the right side of the page.
